I began working with flowers in the 1990's as an interest to put a smile on the faces of family and friends. Following on from this I felt motivated to take my hobby to another level and gained a Certificate in Floristry from the School of Creative Arts. By building a strong and popular reputation through recommendation only, I have been able to develop my art further. It has been a natural progression for me that my passion for flower design has turned into my business which I manage in and around my young family from a workshop at home.
At Oor Fleurs my aim is to provide distinctive creations with an innovative style and individuality to suit customer requirements. By the use of textures, colours and shapes I bring out personality. I always try to arrange flowers in a way that reminds me of nature by the use of form and space rather than being forced into a formal arrangement.
